Peaceful evenings. The day is almost over, and I'm counting the minutes just before dusk. I take a moment to observe the ever-changing sky. In those quiet pauses between day and night, when I'm standing on the balcony, it sometimes seems that there is nothing else but the magical play of colors and shapes. The day's worries are left behind; the night's reveries have not yet invited me. I stare into the distance with open perceptions. And in these calm breaths and exhalations, creativity can visit me in its most pristine form. In scenes like these, I receive words, ideas, images, and aha moments. When I allow them to come to me. When I am not chasing them by the tail. And in one of those evenings, a very clear instruction in the form of images passed through my body. In the following days, I put everything aside and invited into the matter what spoke to me from the invisible worlds of creativity. And so a series of 13 paintings called Evening Tales was born.
